iPhone & NFCs
NFC READING
- Nearly all modern smartphones after the iPhone 6 release in 2016 are compatible with current NFCs chips / stickers.
- iPhones beginning with the XS can read NFCs natively and require no setup.
OLDER IPHONES
Older models of iPhone prior to XS may require an app to read NFCs. We recommend the smartphone app "NFC TOOLS".

Android & NFCs
NFC READING
Nearly all Android phones after 2012 have had NFC reading capability.
TURNING ON NFC SCANNING
Android phones may require you to turn ON scanning for NFCs like so:
- Go to ‘Settings’
- Tap ‘Connections’
- Select ‘NFC and contactless payments’
- Tap the switch to turn NFC on
