"Jorella had a destiny, the Elders always said so. She would bring "great change" to the elves of the plane. And change she did as it's said she spread "a wasting curse" to the entirety of her homeland -- forcing her proud people to flee in terror". There is no written history as to what exactly happened to her, but images of painted at the time show her horrifically rotted body, giving us hints to the source of this "curse" as similar injuries were once documented in elven rangers who were discovered to be "changed" from exposure to an odd black oil found in the great legacy trees. Those rangers were burned with star-fire, which was also used to finally bring down Jorella, ending her tragic life."
