Greetings, The Clever Gamer here!
A number of visitors have recently asked me how I'm currently using our ECKOcards™ to simplify & organize my own personal MTG Commander collection. I wrote this blog to do just that - hope you like it.
MY FAVORITE DECKBOX
To start I want to share what deckbox I tend to use. Because I store my EDH decks in a cabinet with glass doors, it’s great to see them inside and organized. I personally love showing off my collection in this cabinet but also like the ease by which I can see which decks I have at a glance.
With this in mind, I primarily use acrylic Ultra Pro Eclipses for their perfect fit but also because they have sweet transparent colors to match my Commander Color Identity as well.

MY CURRENT EDH DECK COLLECTION
I have about 10 decks that I rotate and play with, and another 2-3 in various stages of being made. I think my favorite EDH deck is my Muxus Goblin deck. It’s just so chaotic and fun — each Commander game night is full of surprises. As a matter of fact, my first personal TCG Smartcard was made for this deck and I still absolutely love it. Take a look at it here:

HOW I USE TSG SMARTCARDS
So here’s my exact setup:
- As you can see from my thumbnail for this blog, I place my Commander’s card on the top of the 99, facing out of the side of my Ultra Pro Eclipse deckbox.
- I then place a TCG Smartcard on the front of my deck box. This allows for easy scanning and beautiful showcasing of the cool card art as well.
- I also set my Decklists on Moxfield to “Public”. This is so friends and visitors can scan my Smartcard to view my decklists without having to login to Moxfield.
(If you want to ensure the privacy of your Decklists, you can skip this step.)
MY FAVORITE DECKBUILDER SITE
You’ll notice that I use Moxfield for my TCG Smartcard decklists. I personally love their service, find the tools and testing capability to be the best on the market. If you’re on the hunt for a Deckbuilder site, I highly recommend Moxfield. If you’re curious here are my personal decklists you can find them all here:

IN SUMMARY
With this setup, I can quickly and easily scan each Decklist directly thru each deck box — in a flash — to review or update my decks so much easier than before.
And by using Moxfield public deck lists, my friends and visitors can do the exact same thing. All without having to even open up my decks - reducing unnecessary wear and tear.
Check out what I mean in this video - where I explain how the cards work, and show an example of me fast scanning a series of my decks to emphasize my point.
